Ever since I was little, and pretending to be a mommy to my babies, everyone always told me, "Don't grow up to fast. Enjoy it." I always thought they were so stupid. Telling me not to grow up to fast, not rush it, it'll be here soon enough. How can I not look ahead into my future? How can I not plan out my life?
Pretty much my whole life has been a countdown to the next big thing coming up.
Countdown to the New Year
Countdown to Mom's birthday
Countdown to my birthday
Countdown to Jake's birthday
Countdown to Dad's birthday
Countdown to Christmas
then the cycle starts all over again.
I was counting down to my 15'th birthday, since it was 102 days away. I wasn't counting down because I was so excited to be 15 (Don't get me wrong, I was) but I was counting down, just to start another countdown. After my 15'th birthday, I just started another countdown, to the day I get to drive. And after that countdown is over, it'll just be another countdown, to the day that I'm 16. Then another, to the day that I turn 17. Then another, and another, and another.
I just realized, everyone that said not to rush it............Well.......They were right.. Time goes by so fast. Kids grow up in the blink of an eye. One day someone's there, and then the next, they're gone. I was thinking, I kinda wish I lived in Never Land, with Peter Pan. No worries of getting older. Fun with friends every day. Stay a kid forever.
Now I know that will never happen, but I can choose to live like everyday is my last. And, you know what, I think I will. So, no more countdowns. I'll still get excited when a big occasion comes around, but I won't spend all my time thinking about it.
So, what do you say?
Stay forever young with me?
I Have Nothing Left To Say

Through her Eyes
You see a girl with black hair and dark make-up and think, "Wow, she must be emo."
She sees a girl with black hair and dark make-up and thinks, "She's just expressing how she feels inside."
You see girl crying in the corner and think, "What a baby."
She sees a girl crying in the corner and thinks, "She looks like she could use a friend."
You see a hot guy and think, "Danggg! He's hawtttt!!"
She sees a hot guy and thinks, "Just another heart break."
You see a woman with hair in a mess, no make-up on, and raggedy clothes.
She sees a woman that tries really hard, and doesn't have any time for herself.
You see someone laughing with a friend.
She sees someone covering the hurt.
You see a person laughing, with tears running down their face and think, "Awww. Tears of joy."
She sees a person laughing, with tears running down their face and thinks, "She just couldn't take it anymore. Those tears are real. The laughing is what's fake."
You feel something sharp dig into your side and think, "Ow! What did I just run into?!"
She feels something sharp dig into her side and thinks, "I promised myself I wouldn't do this again.."
You feel the tears running down your face and think, "That was such a sad movie! She lost what she wanted most!"
She feels the tears running down her face and thinks, "Welcome to my world."
Next time you are about to judge someone, or say something, try looking through her eyes first..

Music
It's been a while since I've updated, but I'm a busy girlllll. :p
Music. Oh my goodness, I LOVE music. I love listening to it, singing it, my life is one big song! I'm actually listening to it right now. Right now I have Britney Spears on. I just became a fan of her. But ONLY her music. But, ya, she's cool... My favorite genre of music is country.
If you're ever in my room, you can almost always be sure that you will be listening to country music. I just recently started listening to "normal teenager music". I'll listen to 99.7, or sometimes, I'll listen to 94.9.
Christian music is cool too. I like to listen to K-Love. My favorite artists on K-Love are Francesca Battistelli, JJ Heller, and Mercy Me. Mercy Me has this one song, "Beautiful". If you haven't already, please listen to it. It is soo good. It still makes me cry when I hear it, and I've heard it aaabboouutt three million, five hundred thousand, seven hundred and fifty-nine times. Haha. Well, not really, but I have heard it quite a few times.
On March 22, my choir at FCS is going to New York. We are going to sing at Lincoln Center. I'm pretty excited. And get this... We are going to be singing MUSIC!! ;) I'm pretty excited to be going to New York. OK, just kidding, I am soo super duper excited!! I can't wait!! :D
Alrighty, well, that's all. Ta ta for now.

MOMMY!!!
I really have no idea where this blog is going. I kinda think I wanna write on my mommy. I kinda like her a little bit. So that is where this blog post is going
So, my mom, she is the woman that gave me life. The least I can do is write a blog post entirely on her. So, here is my mommy and meee!

So ya, that is me and my mommy. This was quite a while ago. We kinda did a little photo shoot in a big wild Field that had the most beautiful flowers. I really love my mom. She is my best friend. I can go to her with absolutely anything. I know that she will help me with absolutely anything and she backs me up 100% on MOST things. Tee hee She doesn't know that I am making this post on her, so hopefully it'll be a nice birthday surprise! She is turning ^!#*%^&^$!)$ on February 23'rd. That is soooonnnnn. Alrighty, well it's late and we all have to get up at 6 tomorrow! YAY! Well, I love you a million red M&Ms mommy. <3

James and Robbie
Like I said before, I am your normal teenage girl. And every teenager has a best friend. Well, I have one, and I guess she's pretty cool. ;) Her and I have a lot of things in common, including our name!! Yes we are both named Kristiana. Well, she's Christiana, and I'm Kristiana. Ya, pretty cool:) We both think it's wierd to call each other our own names, so we made up nick names for each other. Nobody else gets them, but it's ok. It's an us thing;) She's James, and I'm Robbie. Mhmm, be jealous of our amazing names. We have a lot of fun together. We're like sisters. We fight, and we get annoyed with each other, but I could not picture my life without her. I would do anything for her.

This picture was when we were just becoming friends. The shoe and socked foot are her feet, and the shoe and un-socked foot is me.
Another thing that we have in common is that we both support life. This day we decided to wear tape on our mouths and not speak the whole day for those babies that will never get a chance to speak. This was a world wide thing, but it is something that we did together:)![]()
This picture, oh this picture! She begged me to put it up! :) No joke. She said, "Put the one of you kissing my cheek so the whole world can see my prettiful face!" So there ya go Jamseys! I did;) Let's see, this day we had done a concert with our choir at FCS. We were bored while we waited for our moms to stop talking to each other, so we decied to take pictures like this one! ;) We help each other through almost anything and we have so much fun together. So, there ya go James, a blog just for you! Love ya girl! :)

Faith
So, before I jump into what I wanted to talk about, let me tell you a little of what led up to this. Friends of my parents had a baby. Her name is Scarlett Grace. They took her in for her 8 week check up, and long story short, found out she had a fast growing tumor on her brain. They told them that she had a week to two weeks left, and they should go home and wait. Not news you want hear. Brandi and Chris didn't feel like just sitting there watching their baby die while they did nothing to try to stop it, so they went to another hospital, an this Doctor said because of where the tumor is, they could operate and try to get it out. They warned them that this was a very risky, 20 hour surgery, but these two were willing to do anything to possibly save their baby. So, Scarlett went through the surgery, and they got 85% of it out, and decided to stop because she was losing too much blood. Then, they went back a couple days later, and got all of the tumor out, down to the microscopic level!! They are home now, and last night there was a charity event for Scarlett. I got to meet her, and she really is such a beautiful little gift from God.
So, at this charity event last night, my mom and Scarlett's grandma were talking. As I was listening in on this conversation, something Teri said really caught my attention.
"It is easy to have faith when things are going good"
This made me cry a little bit. But, you know what, it is so true. When things are going great, ya, sure, God is here, obviously. Look at all that I have right now and how great it is going. But, when something like this happens, you really have your doubts. It's really hard to trust that everything is going to turn out ok. Not just in this situation, but in all of them. And look, everything turned out ok. Scarlett is now 15 weeks old, and 11 pounds!!! But, even in those times when things don't turn out the way you think they should, something you have to ALWAYS remember is, God has a plan, and his plans never fail.

First Blog Post.........EVER!!!
So, I decided to start this blog up because my dad and friend Emilie both started their own blogs, and it looked like a lot of fun. So, I decided I was going to write one. If you don't already, you should check out their blogs. They are pretty awesome. =] My daddy's blog- http://klarkwgriswold.blogspot.com/ and Emilie's blog- http://the-emiberry.blogspot.com/ . I suggest checking them out. I highly doubt many people will read this, but hey!
Let's start this out with a couple things about me. I just started dying my hair, and I think it is something I am going to continue to do. I like the whole experimenting with different colors and see how they look with your face, surprise aspect of it all. I wear a lot of makeup! Probably way to much, but hey, it's fun! =] I love my friends and family, but especially my little brother Jacob. I really don't know where I would be without him. (Probably curled up in a ball somewhere lost and not knowing which direction is up)
I also love little kids. My dad says I have this radar and when a little kid comes in, it lets me know. But seriously, if a kid is in the room, I'm right there seeing if it will play with me. I also love to sing. I'm always singing. Always! I am also very in love with Jesus! I am very involved in my church and youth group. I sing in the choir at Church and I am in leadership at my youth. I really depend on God and turn to him and he always helps me through it.
I love my family. However crazy it may be. We always have so much fun together.
^^^Here is my family. That guy there in the back, that would my dad.. Then there is my mom, me and my brother. This picture was taken a while ago, so we all look a little different, but we still act the same. We're a family. We fight, argue, bicker, get on each other's nerves, and annoy each other just for fun, but we all love each other and would do anything for any of them. Well, that seems like a pretty good note to end on. Night night
